· 0% Financing versus Rebates: Are you getting the best deal? Sounds great, however, what you probably don’t know is that if you choose to do your financing with another institution you can take the cash rebate and apply it to the purchase price. Also, 0% financing only applies to certain models and is for a shorter term to qualified borrowers. Less than 25% of consumers actually get approved for 0% financing. · Take a Test Drive: Before you make an offer on your vehicle purchase, make sure you test drive the vehicle. Focus on your needs and determine if it has what is important to you…. comfortable seating, smooth riding, noiseless, nice sound system, leather or cloth seats, and etc.
· Insurance Quote: Vehicles that are financed will require full insurance coverage (liability & collision) for the life of the loan. Determine if the insurance fits your budget before you purchase. Contact your insurance company and request an insurance payment quote.
· Negotiate Your Price: You have to work on getting your best deal, so don’t be afraid to negotiate your price. New: The sticker price on the vehicle is negotiable, and rebates are often available.
