PRIVACY POLICY

Overview:  St. Jules Credit Union is committed to protecting our member’s privacy.  It is the policy of St. Jules Credit Union to hold member information in confidence, subject to legal requirements and standards.  It is the policy of St. Jules Credit Union not to sell member information for use by non-affiliated third parties.

Internal Procedures:  As part of our commitment to protect the confidentiality of your account information, St. Jules Credit Union employees are informed of their responsibility to protect confidential member information and are bound by this Privacy Policy.  Staff may access your account information for business reasons.

Sharing Member Information:  St. Jules Credit Union will limit the use and collection of information about members to what is necessary to administer our business, provide excellent service, and offer opportunities that we think will be of interest to our members.  St. Jules Credit Union shares information with its affiliates and certain vendors with whom it has a contractual relationship to provide specific products and services.  Providers of services include but are not limited to the following:  Data Processor (Share Tec), Share Draft Check Printer (Clarke American), IRA Services and Credit Life/Disability Insurance (CUNA Mutual), Child Support Reporting (Data Match Program), ATM Services (Personix), Credit Bureau Reporting (Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union), Share Account Insurance/Federal Examiner (NCUA), Money Orders (Travelers Express Company), Credit Cards (ICUL Service Corp.), Check Withdrawals (Whitney Bank), Flood Determination (Experian), Tax Reporting (GBS), and State Examiner (OFI).  These are frequently requested services that St. Jules Credit Union would not otherwise be able to provide. These vendors are prohibited from using information for any purpose other than that for which they have been contracted.

Administration:  St. Jules Credit Union’s Staff shall use its good faith business judgment in administrating this Privacy Policy.
